ü       Used ESOD to check daily stats. Used OMP, SAM to make parameter changes working on ALU equipment.

ü       Drive tester, made sure routes were covered

ü       Performed a lot of azimuth change and antenna tilts in the switch, using Ericsson equipment.

ü       Tested UMTS to make sure data and voice were working properly

ü       Used TEMS 15

ü       Checked the signal levels to ensure good coverage

ü       Was in charge of over 100 sites. Made recommendation to improve the network, made a lot of changes that included tilt changes, adding and removing PCIs and making changes to the neighbor list.

ü       Added new builds, had to optimize these site which included but not limited to adding neighbor list and making the necessary changes to get the site working.

ü       Used Microsoft Excel to run traffic scenarios to predict future traffic on the network.

ü       Performed analysis of measured data in order to modify network design and enhance network performance.

ü       Filed status reports to regulatory, and the FCC as required ensuring all cell sites were properly accounted for by all parties.

ü       Used mapinfo to run plots

ü       Devised test plans, test site schedules, equipment calibration and setup, RF signal measurement and data analysis.

ü       Looked at performance data such as T_Add, T_Drop, TT_Drop and T_Comp to isolate, and correct any anomalies that may be causing the network unnecessary harm.

ü       Made recommendations to reduce the overall K.P.I. to fewer than (2) percent for the most optimal network performance.

ü       Worked on several pre-launch procedures to make sure that the network would be able to handle all of the calls that the network was designed for.

ü       Worked with various engineers within these cities to optimize the data network, and ensure that the voice side of the house was not affected.

ü       Made recommendations to increase the number of TRU’s on a per site basis to handle the increasing traffic to the network.

ü       Spoke with high-level personnel to document and verify all changes to make sure that there was no negative effect on the network while changes were occurring.

ü       Incorporated many new cell sites into the network by performing shakedowns, which will assisted in verifying neighborlist, call origination, and call tear down without any complications.

ü       Analyzed drive data, and worked with other engineers to make any recommendations for the preparation of the UMTS network that is currently being designed and optimized, and set to launch by the end of 2005.

ü       Communicated with other engineers to perform weekly comparisons on parameter changes in various markets.

ü       Analyzed were done using Planet prediction tool and Net code. 

ü       Analyzed include optimizing handoff parameters in the switch and acceptance of control and voice channels on all sites were performed on a regular basis.

ü       Worked in-group environments to isolate and optimize all troubled areas, and make the proper recommendations to alleviate those areas of its current congestion.
